The filming took place in the picturesque town of Bradford-on-Avon at the end of November 2008. The pigeon meeting scene was filmed at "The Hop Pole" public house.

Pigeon fanciers: N.P.A. Secretary Graham Giddings, Tony Carpenter, Paul King, Brian Smith and John Ross.
